BowTie Manager

Privacy notice

Version 1.0

This notice explains what personal data BowTie Manager processes about you under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

What we collect

Your name and e-mail address (required to sign in), and optionally your job title, phone number, time zone and date format. We also record sign-in events (time, IP address) and the actions you take in the application, because organisations rely on a complete audit trail for safety-critical records.

Why

To give you secure access to the organisations you belong to, to attribute your work in bow tie studies, approvals and barrier records, and to protect the service against misuse.

Who is responsible

The platform operator is responsible for your account. Each organisation you work for is responsible for the study content it holds; the platform processes that content on the organisation’s behalf.

Your rights

You can view and correct your profile, and download your personal data from My profile. You may ask for your account to be erased: your identity will be removed, but entries you signed or recorded stay in the audit trail in anonymised form where the law or safety-record obligations require them to be kept.

Retention

Account data is kept while you are a member of an organisation. Organisation data is kept for the retention period that organisation sets, then deleted.

Contact

Contact your organisation administrator, or the platform operator through them, about any privacy question or grievance.
